How do I add a new stock to my portfolio?

Navigate to the Dashboard, tap the "+" button, enter the stock symbol, number of shares, and your average cost per share. The app will automatically fetch real-time pricing and calculate your position.

How often are stock prices updated?

Stock prices are updated in real-time using Finnhub API. Mutual fund prices (like FSELX) are updated daily after market close using Alpha Vantage API.

How do I set up price alerts?

Go to the Alerts tab, tap "Create Alert", select your stock, choose "Above" or "Below", and set your target price. You'll receive push notifications when the price crosses your threshold.

What are the AI Portfolio and Options Agents?

These are AI-powered analysis tools that provide insights on your portfolio performance, risk metrics, and options trading recommendations. Access them from the Dashboard screen.

How do I move a stock to my watchlist?

Swipe left on any position in your portfolio, then tap "Watchlist". The position will be moved to your watchlist where you can monitor it without it affecting your portfolio calculations.

Can I share my positions with others?

Yes! Swipe left on any position and tap "Share". You can share via messages, email, or social media.

Why isn't my mutual fund updating?

Mutual funds (like FSELX) update once per day after market close. Stock prices update in real-time during market hours. If you're not seeing updates after 24 hours, please contact support.

How do I delete a position?

Swipe left on the position you want to remove, then tap "Delete". This will permanently remove the position from your portfolio.

Is my financial data secure?

Yes! All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices including JWT authentication, bcrypt password hashing, and secure HTTPS connections. We never share your data with third parties.

Do you support international stocks?

Currently, we support US stocks and mutual funds. International stock support is planned for a future update.
